The TRENDnet TPL-406E2K Powerline 500 AV Nano Adapter Kit lets you extend a high-speed wired network to any room in your home or business using your existing electrical wiring — no new cables required. The kit includes two compact TPL-406E adapters, each delivering data rates up to 500 Mbps over distances up to 300 m (980 ft.) across your power lines.
Setup is completely plug-and-play: simply connect one adapter to your router and plug the second into any outlet near the device you want to connect. The adapters automatically pair with 128-bit AES encryption for a secure, private powerline network. The compact nano form factor saves space at crowded outlets, and up to 8 adapters can be used together to create a whole-building wired network.
